So sad when this happens but has anyone noted that she\'sunder 19 and her boyfriend is 19? Is that considered rape on some level because she\'s not legal or is there some magic three year rule I don\'t know about?

Pretty irresponsible of both of them, if any good comes out of it hopefully it is to make teens and pre-teens know that sometimes there are serious consequences to your actions.

Unfortunately, I\'ll bet there are tons of 16 year old girls pregnant right on your own home town that won\'t have all the opportunities little miss sunshine there will have.

NEW YORK (AP) — Lynne Spears\' book about parenting has been delayed indefinitely, her publisher said Wednesday.

Lindsey Nobles, a spokeswoman for Christian book publisher Thomas Nelson Inc., said Wednesday that the memoir by the mother of Britney Spears was put on hold last week. She declined to comment on whether the delay was connected to the revelation that Spears\' 16-year-old daughter, Jamie Lynn, is pregnant.

\"I can tell you that we are standing behind Lynne and supporting her decision to be with her family at this time,\" Nobles told The Associated Press.

\"Pop Culture Mom: A Real Story of Fame and Family in a Tabloid World\" was initially scheduled for release May 11, Mother\'s Day. Spears, the mother of three children with ex-husband Jamie Spears, had been working with a Michigan-based freelancer since March on the memoir chronicling Spears\' experiences raising a family in the public eye.

Jamie Lynn Spears, star of Nickelodeon\'s \"Zoey 101\" and sister of Britney, told OK! magazine in its new issue that she\'s expecting her first child and the father is boyfriend Casey Aldridge.

Nobles and representatives for Britney Spears said they did not know how Lynne Spears could be reached for comment about the status of her book.

I mean really though, who the hell would have bought a book on parenting from the mother of Britney Spears?

Well and what gets me with the story is:

1) They met at church--don\'t even get me started on this.

2) They don\'t seem upset about it. They seem happy

What really gets me is the fact that regardless of its content, people will throw money at something that is associated with celebrity.

I\'m sure Mamma Spears book will sell a million, because there is a million idiots that will want to read it. The old saying of \"a fool and their money\" seems appropriate.

My biggest pet peeve has become America\'s celebrity worship, and still I find myself in the middle of these things....

now hang on, as much as i hate to defend her (and believe me, i do!) maybe the condom didn\'t work? or the pill (one of my colleagues got preggers that way)

ok see I\'ve never understood the girls who say they got pregnant on the pill or the shot. I\'ve been on both now and the shot has worked much much better for a number of things rather than the pill. I have not once gotten pregnant (though I\'m also not whoring it up all that much either. A severe shortage of good men on earth . . .) anyway I don\'t even get my monthy visitor any more, yes i may ovulate but it\'s infrequent and the whole point to the pill and shot is to provoke the chemical reaction that thickens the membrane around your eggs so the sperm can\'t penetrate.

It\'s easy to miss a pill but the shot is good for three months at a time and even then it can take up to a year for functions to resume any sort of natural pattern. I\'ve been told you can still stay protected on the shot between 6months to a year after going off of it. And going off of it is horrendously painful. I had to do it once and it started wearing off when I was working at GenCon Indy . . . I nearly blacked out because of the pain.

So, in sum, I don\'t get how anyone can get pregnant when using protection and using it properly. It\'s 99.99999999% effective when used properly.

My brothers gf\'s friend became pregnant on the pill + that the kid lay next to the spine which resulted in the stomach not growin so much (she was a bit curvy as well, but not much actually) So she only thought she had gained som weight. What are the odds?

She went to the doctor with pains, and was a bit shocked, to say the least, that she was going to have a baby. She was in her mid 20\'s at the time though so it wasn\'t that bad.

If people consider me to be a baby still at 23 then yes at 16 you are still a baby.

If that\'s the case, how in gods name do you quit?

Plus the funny thing about this story I\'ve heard is that Brit learned of the pregnancy\'s from the Tabloids, and that K-Fed(?) had learned from Mom. If that isn\'t a little dysfunctional nothing is.

you quit cold turkey, nothing else you can do. So if I ever need to quit I\'ve just got to get through the two days of pain. One day was the worst for hours and hours and then the next day was really really bad cramps.
