ok so I got a huge 1500 point box of flames of war british in today for a client and while opening it I keep seeing a few too many tanks..I thought hey they have accidentally added a few extras all the better..so I dig deeper into the box and start looking at the box art for refference to whats included.uhhh--oohh..they have added a pile of tanks and left out a whole arty platoon...so I think no problem I have delt with battle front before..they are a bit slow in sending parts but do come thru..then my pal sends me 2 links with a complaint list a mile long on tmp..really uh-ohhh now..seems the quality control has went out the window...normally i wouldnt be too annoyed but this now interupts finaces due to a major snafu on their part ..anyone had a problem with the boxsets aside me?

Who did you order it from? battelfront or a second party..if it was a second party return it to them for an exchange or a refund.. If a refund is issued oreder another set from someone else. Email Battlefront Ive herd from others they are quick to respond..last thing Id do is beleave a thread on some form..complaint threads tend to be started by those who can never be satisfied no matter what you do.

If in the end your just short a couple packs.. start painting what your have, order the mising packs.. and then sell off the extras.. its not that difficult.. Packing errors happen with all companies.

I can\'t imagine Battlefront *not* dealing with such an error in the most professional manner. After Battlefront started their USA-based mail order, some Canadian customers apparently had to pay brokerage fees on their orders from BF USA. BF actually offered to PAY the brokerage fee for those people! (I received an e-mail telling me to send them any brokerage receipts I had for my order!) Sadly they also decided to stop offering USA->Canada mail order... :(

Jeff yeah client won it off ebay and had the seller send it here..normally dealing with bf they will send replacement parts but usually takes awhile..from reading this huge thread there was so many complaints it sounded like the quality control has now become non existant..thats true we could do what you suggested but selling tanks on ebay never brings the full price unless very well painted and when the client spends $250 on the minis he shouldnt have to worry that part of the order is missing making the whole set not useable..and delaying their order..not to mention reordering the minis thru most online places usually takes that much longer if they have it in stock..;we usually order from a reliable online store but always means a 2 week delay..its fixable but shouldnt have to be..a pack or 2 i can see but now i have to wonder how many more sets are floating around with the wrong amounts..again fixable but annoying to say the least

NSA check these links out to the tmp threads..

Well theres your problem, he won it off ebay.. how do you know the eBay seller didn\'t screw it up.. its not uncommon to not get what you paid for on ebay. Even if its shrink wrapped.. easy for a seller to re shrinkwrap an item.

jeff I have bought couple thousand dollars worth of flames of war over the past year and I dont think it was tampered with..anything is possible I guess but I dont think so in this case... considering the amount if things over this time period we have got that was missing melted or just the wrong parts all together so i think if you read the posts on the tmp thread you see alot more of what I am saying in the second link..the minis are fantastic just alot of problems..
