did this one wednesday for a local gw comp.

it took about 6hrs.

it made a nice change using metalics for once, i think when i do my rackham orcs i may do them with metalics.

critisism would be nice guys. :)

Overall I like it a lot. very clean looking and neat, paintwise.

What I don\'t like is the metallics are a bit too bright, even with the shading I would have liked a bit darker.

Also, I think the skin tone and clothing are too close together in tone. I would have used a darker skin color to distinguish them better.

But those comments are subjective and are not meant to take anything away from the painting skill, it is very well done.

chris i bow down before your superior painting ability.

this is why i shall be using a white undercoat and attempting NMM:D

however first i must engage in a series of debauched activities involving alcohol and a naughty young lady.

the way i see it im gonna get three hours between me taking lucy to work and GW opening at ten.

speed painting, easy.

I don\'t get the voting at all...

Usually I have the scores hidden, but I had turned that off for a while. I noticed the mini was at 7.8...I voted an 8...when the score pop up in the right corner it was 7.7

Does that make any kind of sense?

Only if someone else was voting lower while you looked at it. (although scoring it under an 8 doesn\'t make much sense to me IMO)

don\'t worry about the score guys, your feedback nowadays helps me so much.

i learn just as much from the painting gods as i do from people who don\'t think they are as good as me.

thanks again guys. :)
