...for not being one lonely old sick sociopath who enjoyed playing the first really bad ego-shooter of known history on MS-DOS 386. Thank You, this makes us two. (When I feel really down, I sometimes load that old disc - windows 98 can simulate it - and just listen to the groans and the boom boom boom of the endless intro)

this is at least two years old, quite raw for today standards, but still fascinating I think

Ahhh Doom brings back such pleasant memories of whirring miniguns and delicate rasp of chainsaw through flesh. Got bored of most FPS games now the last one to really get my attention was the first Deus Ex. Any game where you can pepper spray someone then zap \'em with a cattle-prod gets my vote.
