Hey guys, I know its been a long time since I have posted, but here i go with a triple whammy...

Firstly, an older mini from earlier this year... a heavily converted Dark Elf Lord:

A couple of more recent minis now...

A Hasslefree miniature converted into T1000:

And finally one of our very own Zordana\'s Tiny Souls Imps!

Comments always welcome, cheers guys

all very nice models.

i like the elf conversion, but i am not familiar with the range so i don\'t know how well converted is. looks good though (although am not a fan of elves). the base is cool and the weathering is class

the t1000 is just awesome. what a bloody brilliant idea! i shall be nicking (pun not inteded) it! like the simple base and the lightning reference although it would have been lost on me if it weren\'t for the explanation

the imp is cool too, the base is very original - a great use of an old (gw?) brush

Hi Peter nice to see you back here again.

Of the three pieces I\'m finding that the Tiny Souls imp is the one I like the most. It just has a level of whimsy I find appealing. Plus the painting and basework really rock.

The T2000 conversion I\'m sorry to say doesn\'t really do anything for me other than good workmanship and painting it just doesn\'t have a \"Bite\" for me.

The Dark Elf/Slaaneshi also doesn\'t seem to have a \"Bite\" either, while it\'s a good piece and well converted, to my eyes it doesn\'t have a clear focus point to make the figure really attract attention.

The guy who looks like a policeman is meant to be the Terminator in T2 - he morphs into a policeman and gives chase to Arnie and co and launches himself at the car having turned his arms into crowbars. Arnie shoots his \'arm\' and he falls off the car. The boy then frees the clanging piece of metal left buried in the trunk which falls to the road. The T1000 stops running when he gets to the piece of metal, which promptly turns back in to liquid and is re-absorbed into his body.

Does that make sense?! Hopefully you have seen the film ;) :D

I\'ve a feeling young nick hasn\'t seen it, which is now making me feel old.

I think the imp is my favourite one and I like the T1000. The dark elf is well painted but I\'m just not digging it particularly.

I love the imp, the base is really creative and makes the piece very \'fun\' to look at. The other 2 are lacking clear focal points, the terminator one looks drab and doesn\'t have anything that catches the eye, the dark elf i feel is the opposite with all the colors and details competing for the focal point.

My favorite is the Imp. He is nicely done and the base is great fun - reminds me of the Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck cartoons where they come off the page and start interacting with the artist.

It may just be the lighting, but the cheek and brow highlights on the Dark Elf Lord look too sharp.

The T1000 idea is a cool one, but I agree he looks a bit drab. That again may just be lighting.
