A couple of questions

Hey guys,

I have a couple of questions to ask.

The new edition of Warhammer 40k has obviously recently been released, but are new models being released, and previous armies being revised? Does Games Workshop revise armies adding new models, when new rule editions are released?

Also, is it true a Warhammer Wood Elf army is in the works? Obviously the previous Wood Elf army wasn\'t hugely popular, but I hope a new one will be, as I am a huge fan of them.

I believe so, I heard a new Space marine codex is the first to arrive, then a tyranid codex and I think(and hope) the orks will be next and that along with the codex some new ork vehicle models would be released, so I assume this will also be the case with the other races.

I do think a new wood elf army is in the works, but first they will release the new ogre kingdoms army which seems extremly promising.

Yup, from the little seminar I was in at the GW Gamesday, they spoke about how the Wood Elves will most likely be sometime next year.

Rumors i\'ve heard around says that the new wood elf army will be related to the native americans and the shamanic totems stuff ..something like : you choose a totem and your army receive benefits and malus from that totem but there are only rumors.
Then others rumors says they will do the new chaos dwarves army list too...i hope the models will be something like the old marauder miniatures stuff and not like the previous release.

As far as I know the current order for the army books/codexes is

Space marines - November

Ogre Kingdoms - January

Tyranids - April-ish

I think woodelves are supposed to be out at the end of next year. 40k Orcs and Eldar should be getting a revamp as well, but not sure of the dates.
