A day in the life of Itchy letter #1

Yes he is gone from CMON for the time being. But he has not forgotten his crazy Painting Family here @ CMON. Just received a letter from this crazy man today. Letting us know that he is sore from the PT, and how obnoxious the recruits are. (if you ask me they sound like typical aggressive men) He’s upset, that they now just told him that he cannot do seal training because of his eyes…. He is also sick at the moment from all the shots that were giving to him. But he’s not the only one, everyone else there got sick too. He also wants me to say HI to every one here @ CMON and he misses you all. :D

I could of told him that.

What about corrective eye surgery?

I thought I read somewhere that that with corrective eye surgery the airforce would accept people into the pilot program. What about the navy?

Nope.

I have to say though, it takes a special type of person to be a SEAL. Only about 40% of it is physical. Then there\'s about 30% mental and 30% sheer stubborness.

During Hell week a friend of mine who was going for SEALs dislocated his shoulder,
There is no healing time allowed in Hell week so he popped it back into place and kept going. It popped back out 7 more times before they got him to quit, and then only after promising and getting it in writing that he would come back after he healed.

Maybe I\'m wrong but Itchy just didn\'t strike me as the kind of guy who wanted it that badly. He seemed a little more sane.

If it\'s anything like apping for the police, here, then your corrected eye-sight has to be above a certain level, too.

I can\'t be a cop based on my eye-sight being too poor. Even corrected, I won\'t make the grade.

Sore & sick... yeah, that sounds about right :D Glad to hear he\'s surviving, though (in a relative way). Thanks for the update LP.
