A dilemma......

So me and my other half have left Seattle to return to England to live. I never went back to painting for for Privateer since having my little boy and Mike cut his ties with the company back in the beginning of march (despite what PP are leading people to believe over on their main boards).We headed home last week.....Yaay!

The worst thing about leaving Seattle (apart from leaving our friends!) is no more great coffee. The second worst thing is I have had to give up my comcast account and all my CMON piccies have gone.

What I want to know is, is it PC to post all the old pics again?

I\'ve had this problem with one or two broken images before so I know it\'s not possible just to place another link for the images so I keep my scores......What a pain!!!!!

Hey Aly,

Glad to hear that you and Mike are back on Proper ground..

I dont think its any big issue about posting your old pics again, they will just start from zero on votes again. I guess you will just have to delete the old ones.Might be nice to have a fresh start and it would be interesting to see what the votes would be like the second time around.

Anyhoo time for you an mike to get a proper web site up now and get some good galleries up.

Say hi to Mike for me :)

YES!!

You absolutely must repost everything that was up. Some of the best figures on the site - that\'s with no bullshit! I strongly suspect that they\'d be missed by a lot of people as inspiration for their own stuff.

When you do repost, use CMON to host the pics. You\'ll never lose them that way and they load better/less broken links etc.

Get great coffe here. Worth grinding it yourself for the full freshness experience.

The Ethiopian Wild Bonga Forest is a tasty blighter and not insanely priced. It does however have an insane sounding name, which is always a bonus.

The Jamaican Blue Mountain is a bit special, but you have to pay for the quality.

And yeah, would be a shame to loose all of your excellent work from the site.

If the Problem is connected to your Webspace, please put your Pics on http://www.imageshack.us ... then you can send the Link to one of the moderators and tell him (or her...^_^...) to change the Old link with that new one... so you don´t lose your Comments and Votes...

It would be criminal (figuratively speaking) not to repost the minis! :) I very much doubt anyone would mind!

As for the coffee.......well seeing when I met you last year you were hyperactive without coffee , perhaps that\'s a good thing.

(Oh bugger does this mean that you\'ll be entering Golden Deamon?)

Hmm...I thought moving across town was a terrible trial.

I can\'t imagine moving to an entirely new country.

I will post my stuff again then. Just didn\'t want to pee loads of people off with stuff they\'ve seen before.

I know I definitely want you to post your stuff again. I refer to it often for inspiration, so if it was gone entirely, I\'d be sad. :(

Speaking of sad, it\'s too bad you left Seattle without a chance to meet up with us SAPpers (Seattle Area Painters). Not that we\'ve been terribly active, but it\'s the thought that counts. ;)

Hopefully PP will manage without the McVeys (and hopefully the parting wasn\'t hostile ???).
