A favourite mini subject I finally managed to paint

Hi Guys I\'m back after a long absence.... It\'s been a pretty busy few months for me and I wasnt able to get much done....

However, I recently dusted off a mini which had been collecting dust for a few months and decided to do something about it.....

Its basically the Reaper half-elf but i kinda thot he looked like Drizzt from the front cover of \"The Crystal Shard\"....

I tried to paint him the way he looked on the front cover of the book..... Do take a look and let me know what ya think of him and the improvements that can be made.....

this last paintjob definitely is a lot better than the last stuff I have seen from you (those dwarfs).

I was really lookin fur comments from the general audience to see how they felt... been experimenting with different ways to paint... right after painting that moon lady for the cmon contest...... wanna really bring up my own skill to new levels....

right now I\'m painting a saruman cos of the LOTR season that is coming up.....

mostly I am experimenting with new blending techniques and different ways to paint white and other solid colours without adding too much detailing work onto the \"cloth\" of the sculpt and letting the colours themselves become a \"pattern\" on the cloak...

rather hard actually but its a great learning experience for me...

will put up saruman when he is done... and will redo another photo of the drizzt I really think he is too dull.. the actual mini is a lot brighter... but I generally dun wanna photoshop it much to preseve the integrity of the photo.
