This isn\'t yet on CMON because they are still works in progress, but I\'m also looking at some advice on the camera work. Normally I take shots from further away because the resolution of the camera is so good that a small portion of the screen can cover the mini. I was also have a hard time focusing the minis when they were mostly in the full frame of the picture. But this time the focus was spot on (or as good as I have ever seen it happen) and even the compression to a more manageable size has not caused distoritions. It was taken in the shadows of a generaly sunny day, no direct light from any one source.
OK I guess it\'s time for the questions. I\'ve used a multi-metal approach to the mini, specifically I\'ve tried to make the studs a different metal than the metal the studs are on. (A lot more work towards this was done after the WIP picture was taken this morning.) I tried to do it with a pevious mini but the results weren\'t perfect and the picture blurred things to make it worse. Is this idea worth the effort?
