Yep, seen that one at the store.

Also saw one by Barenaked Ladies...

I just saw the Ladies in Glasgow doing a bunch of the songs from that album, incredible live band.

As for Jethro Tull I hope you all stood on one leg and pretended to play the flute.

I saw the Tull live in the summer at Cropredy... Fairport Convention\'s yearly bash... gotta say they were pretty good... it may have been the numerous pints of Wadsworth\'s 6X and a finger stuck in my ear that swayed it though.... erm... okay... I\'ll get my coat now :D:D

Just don\'t tell Metallica!lol

I think they\'re harder than Metallica is today... unless being arrogant fan-suing asses = \"hard\".

I have seen Tull a few times and I must say that the y are a great live band. I also have most of there albums my favourite being Broadsword and the Beast followed by Stormwatch.
I also have Ian Andersons solo stuff which is quite good as well.

Have to admit that Broadsword is one of my favorites also - have considered getting a tat of the fairy from the cover of that one.

Broadsword got me into Tull, love Aqualung as well some very good social commentry there thats still relevant 30 odd years on.

Never seen them live, and I\'ve got somewhere around 12 of their albums, but I\'m always seeing ones I don\'t have, very prolific, but some of the albums are not so good.

Is there just no stopping the Uk\'s favorite pervert??! hehehehe...Tull\'s lyrics are actually very good, although a lot of songs seem to be about oversized women ;) Fave albums Aqualung and Thick as a Brick. Broadsword is ok, but a bit too polished for my tastes, and that previousb quote from the Rock Island album...not my fave.

Unfortunately I was 17 in 1971 :( so, yes, I am old.

YOu\'re right, though, it really is fun to start a thread and see where it wanders to.:D

Saw Jethro Tull on their Stormwatch tour in 79. One of the best shows I have seen. The stage show was really good. In 71 I was 10 so I guess that makes me a middle aged fart??
