finished this one earlier today

photographing the metals was a right paint in the arse
had fun tho, having a bash at water effects as well as different finishes on different surfaces (looks better for it in real life.)

I have this mini :D You\'ve made me want to paint it now! Really nice job on the metals (Carrascoesque), and the base is great. The pics are a bit dark to see his main body though, and I\'d like to see a close-up of his face.

hope this helps, unfortunately i only have one light and if i put it in front of the model it\'s too close and just kills everything with glare. (it\'s on a base on my desk so the reach is limited)
i end up having to get it above and in front of the model for taking pics which makes it dificult for eys to be seen as they end up cast in shadow.

one day i\'ll be able to get some more light and then i\'ll have better pics.

Looking at his back gives me the shivers lol. Great work!

*edit* I keep seeing more and more details the more I look!

I\'m thinking the raised areas of the pectorals could use a tad more highlighting (see where it shines from the camera) and I\'d like to see some more definition in the face, though it is it hard to distinguish if the difficulties are a result of the glare or not.

Otherwise, a very smooth composition, base to the tips of his antlers!

very nice fella, the skin has a putrid/distresed look has alot of depth to it and i quite like the base. However, am strugglin to see the mini, the pics are too dark. i know ur minis are at a high standard but the pics are really letting it down, ur need more lighting! ;)

get urself some cheap (cheap!) lamps and make a small order from these guys Ebulbshop, they burn around 6500 kelvin and are very, very bright, will help u out loads

Nice Job Chief....run some Gloss varnish round the point where the resin meets the base to smooth it out...
may take a few layers but is worth it...Alternatively lay it down and do one side at a time applying a bead of resin with a syringe....

I\'ve been thinking about getting this guy am currently doing Sumothay and some of the 30mm stuff...may have to pick this guy up now I\'ve seen what he looks like properly...
