A friend of mine got this here idea for me (yep) to do an kiind of holy chapter of spacemarines in all white, with a few gold details and a higly ornamental look to them, with parts of dark red Chaos guys all over the place (Very dead or almost dead.. you know.. battle scenes for the bases)

So i was wondering if you might have any tips or \"do not\'s\" ?

Yeah! Bride Marines!
Just make sure they don\'t get captured, thats a lot of virgins for the altar...

You ned to specify on Do\'s and don\'ts. I reall dont think theres any boundries.
It\'s your show matey!

Well, i was thinking something in line with good not-to-complicated conversion suggestions and the like... Also, things i just should NOT include in the army (Like the witch hunters Immolator.. )

I think Grey knights in your colours would look pretty sweet..shit. I just gave myself a cool idea!!! Nice!

But yeah, id\'s steer away from the witchhunter/SoB thing. Make it mariney.
the venerable dred with a few conversions could look sweet too!

Personally, I don\'t like to paint white. The marine isn\'t that bad, but I would definaltey paint the white a little bit more and show a bit more lining in between the armor.

what color are you going to do the shoulder trim?

Well, white.. But ill vary it with gold on the shoulder pad .. or the trim, or just all white!

The chaptersymbol is going to be a \"v\" flipped around.

Hmmmm, prime white, and use SW grey for subtle shading. whites not easy really, but if done well can look absolutely awesome!
I have to admit I think SM\'s can look rather spiffy in white...

yeah spray white....then mix up space wolves grey a tiny spot of black and some white paint with lots of water and a little washing up liquid.
Wash over the whole model and leave to thoroughly dry.
mix in a bit more black into the mix to do deepest areas.
then paint DON\'T drybrush white.
White is ne colour that doesn\'t drybrush well.
Always paint the highlights on. It may seem like it will take forever but work on 5 or 6 models at a time and yo\'ll soon get through em.

remember to undercoat the gold areas black before Painting them.

And remember to undercoat the black bits with brown before painting on the gold to really make the finish shine through. I never paint gold straight over black because it takes too many coats and looks less spangly than it should when done. A Snakebite Leather or Bestial Brown basecoat is called for.

Nope. Freakinacage is the one and only CMON\'er who has actually seen a Finn17 Mini. (As far as we know)

Kinda makes him like the only Knight of the Round Table to see the Holy Grail. (Wasn\'t that Parcival?)
