Good page. I like the style of it. And as demonherald said it: it's easy to navigate and this is the most important for a website.

About the gallery:
I'm using a default code for the design of the gallery and I haven't had any luck finding how to make the carousel vertical without 'destroying' the overall function so I think I'm going to stick with it.
I am trying to make the pictures clickable at the moment though since that is something that bugs me as well.

I haven't converted the tutorials section to the new design yet, that's why it looks like crap, I'll get to it tonight I believe.

Errrm. How many people are you? I ask because your homepage says "we" and the menu bar says stuff like "Contact us", whereas the actual contact page and several of the other pages strongly imply that you are one person. I think you'd be best making it absolutely clear and consistent throughout the site, depending on how you want to be viewed by the public. Personally, if you're a one-man band, I'd recommend that you acknowledge that.

Also, the commissions page layout it odd. Maybe have everything laid out as a column, i.e., blurb about individual pricing and whatever, then yellow box of doom (appropriately re-sized) and the other bits and bobs you want. I strongly recommend doing s'thing about said doomy box of yellow too. Fair enough, it's important and you need people to read that. But I'm finding it counterproductive in that it strongly draws the eye, but the colours and text size mean that I'm not reading it clearly and easily.

Lastly, pick two or maximum three text sizes (not including the text in your menu bar thingie). Decide what they will be used for, e.g., 16 point is headings, 14 point is text body, and then stick to this for each page. You can always "add" more types of headings or whatever with judicious use of bold and italic but again these need to be used consistently. It might be worth drawing up a master "style sheet" as a reference as you add more things to the site. And get someone competent to proof-read your main business pages. A second pair of eyes might spot things you haven't noticed because you're too familiar with what the text should say, not what it actually says, and correct grammar, punctuation and spelling will help you to look much more professional.

*looks for more nits* Ok, I think that'll do for now! ;)

I like it. Having commented on your previous design, I can say that I much rather prefer this layout. I know it doesn't look like chromium metal, but it has a certain style to it that really works.

I'd add some constructive criticism, but the other folks here pretty much said it best.

on the commissions page the important notice box the fifth line doesn't make sense. may need a look..

also unreated to the site regards pricing in my experience keeping yourself flexible is important make sure you say any prices are approximate and a guide with each job worked out on an individul basis ... or words to that effect .. As you say yourself some jobs are easier than others and there are some real pisstakers out there who wait for new commission sites and take advantage of them trust me I've had it I've sen it ......

@Amazon: I've been waiting all day for critique like that! :D
Please do tell if you find more nits. The need for consistency might not be something extreme but it does become a needle in the eye when found so to speak. I'm changing that this very moment. Most variations in text sizes come from the change in design and will be taken care of as soon as possible.

@demonherald: Is it this sentence you mean?
"If the existing mini would be part of a boxed set I therefore have to charge for the complete boxed set if there is no other approved method of attaining the wanted mini."

Being the author it is easy to become blind to your own writing as Amazon pointed out, but that is the only sentence that kinda feels vague in my eyes...

@Evil: Yeah, that logo did feel a lot better in every way actually, and now it doesn't steal focus anymore.

Anyone who is a native English speaker who wants to have a go at my spelling and grammar on the page?

No it's this one ....
"I must add the by the trademark holder set price for the mini to that of the price of the job itself."

maybe to read .....

I must add the trademark holders Recommended Retail Price to that of the price of the job itself ????

Glad it was of use! :) Most of it wasn't too bad, I was specifically going out of my way to find these things but as you say, once seen it cannot be unseen. Most of it should be really easy to nip in the bud or fix at this stage though. And if you ask me really, really nicely, I could be persuaded to look over any text you want proof-read this weekend. ;) I don't really have anything much planned for the next two days beyond a bit of food shopping and possibly a walk!

@Amazon: That sounds great! I'll be working continously on the page throughout the weekend since it is supposed to be done by this tuesday so I'll definitely be available for feedback since this is what I will be occupying myself with...

So, how should I put it...

Pwetty pwease? With stwawbewwies? :rotfl:

@Demonherald: Sounds good. Doesn't have the same 'formal' feeling to it but I think it sounds a bit less like a political statement. XD I'll use that.
