I pretty much listen to anything, except a lot of country - although there is a little of it that I like. Basically, rock, pop, R&B, metal...

We\'ve got a 6 CD changer in the convertible and I\'ve got Liz Phair, Rush (Exit Stage Left & Live in Rio), 100% Funk (Play That Funky Music, Brick House, Car Wash, etc.), Metallica (S&M live album) in there now. Just switched it out with Destiny\'s Child, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Diary of Alicia Keys...

Need to get the Best of Queen album though!

Have to say, for you married folk who want a super sexy slow song, listen to Dido\'s \"Life for Rent\" CD - song #7 (?) \"Who Makes You Feel\" - damn it is hot!

To note: Good Charlotte, Not by Choice, Simple Plan, and Avril Lavigne are not punk. In fact, I hate all of them and hope to purge them from this planet. :flame:

My, I seem to have started a sensation here...anyway, my two cents on this is as follows: music r0x0rz. I love music of all kinds (though I\'m loth to classify such things as Britney Spears as music, it insults my aesthetics). A short sampling of my playlist:

Bach -- Nocturne in E Minor
System of a Down -- Boom!
The Barenaked Ladies -- Brian Wilson
Big Sugar -- All Hell For a Basement
Enya -- Adeimus
Marylin Manson -- This is the New Shit
Lemon Pipers -- Green Tambourine

That Bach nocturne is absolutely amazing, although I daresay you\'ll not have an easy time finding it, seeing as Bach wrote oodles of nocturnes in various keys ;P

if you buy the singles album, buy the special ed version with the 2nd CD. Fantastic stuff, and will be the first thing to go on my mp3 player if I can buy it today :D Decided to finally treat myself cos work are sending me to India next week :D

Queen is my absolute #1 favorite. All of their stuff is great, I\'ve got all the albums. Also, I have a slight suspicion that I know the lyrics to all of their songs by heart :) Love Queen!

I like all kinds of music, but if I\'d have to pick one it would be rock. If u want to hear some good dance / electric music, here are some of my favs:
Armand Van Helden - Fullmoon
Shapeshifters - Lolas Theme
Junior Jack - Stupidisco

U dont hear much of those on radio :(

I also don\'t see \"Alternative Music\", Like Enya and Yanni, unless that is what you\'re calling Electronica?

Anyhow, I voted Rock, \'cause that was my original love, Drake\'s list would also work for me, with the following additions -

Some Rap - Eminem and a few other... none of that Gangsta crap

Alternative music - especially the theme to the X-Files.

And most recently my wife\'s uncle has gotten me into blues. Nothing makes a person feel better then someone else singing about how crappy their life is!lol

Can\'t believe I forgot to mention Audioslave. Their self-titled album is great!! (I feel like I have a couple of theme songs on it!) And I think someone already mentioned the LoTR CD\'s but I\'ll mention them again. Out of all of the three I prefer the first one in it\'s entirety.

Yeah, the LotR stuff would definately make my list too, good to paint minis by. I downloaded a bunch... errrr... I mean legally purchased them off the internet.:D

I also forgot I like some classical, Wagner\'s Flight of the Valkyries, and Vivaldi\'s Four Seasons are two of my favourites.

Something else that comes to mind that I like are groups like Enigma, Deep Forest, Adiemus... I really like that ethereal sound.

Can\'t say that I like any oh the new Rap, I do however like some of the old 80\'s rap.

@ Celthuhlu I will have to find some Franz, any recomdations?

Love Bolero too - but - tend to get distracted by the end of it! lol
