A new Camera, Help Needed

As i\'m way too lazy to search in the forum, i\'m asking you if anyone owns a Nikon 4200 and if it\'s a good camera.

I\'d like to buy one to gift myself as i just received my first salary

If it\'s not, which camera do you suggest?

I picked up a CP 5000 early this year on ebay. Seems it is a discontinued model being replaced by the 5200 or 5400 or something. 5 megapixel.

The first thing you want to get is a larger flash card than comes with it. Could not even put one pic in \"best\".

There is a LOT of settings. Mine also has 4 users. Set #1 as general, #2 as macro and #3 as video. That way you don\'t have to go through and change everything each time you want to do something else with your camera. And you can tweak the settings for each type of work you are doing. (focus style, white balance, etc.)

I have a Nikon 885 and it\'s a very good camera (actually I\'m trying to sell it because my wife need a 5.0Mp camera) and the coolpix 4200 is about the same camera with a better resolution.

I have also tryed the Olympus 5000-z and has an amazing super macro mode that work really well with the miniatures.
