Count me in, I'd risk it for a tenner! Pm me and we can do business. One request for the final product, call then paint what you want but please specify what colour it is somewhere on the bottle. As I am colour blind, stupid gw style names kill me as some of the new ones don't even hint as to what they contain!

Thank you for the valuable info there.
Let me get this straight:
You would like the paints to be named let's say Vomit Brown instead of Vomit.
Or if it is named Vomit to have somewhere the word Brown on the bottle.

This can be done.

Another idea was to name the colors with their names and scale i.e. Brown 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 (from light to dark) etc

How about that?

That would be awesome to me. Its hard enough trying to remember skullbanger red, nosebleed red, axe murder red, blah blah red.

The color base and then numbered from light to dark or dark to light. Whichever is easiest would be delightful IMHO.

How much longer before we will be able to break open some bottles?

That is a really good idea. It sure beats trying to sort dark to light when the names are Light Brown, Sand, Buff, and Ivory.

Count me in as a tester if you need more! I'm somewhat of a beginner and have really only used Reaper paints, so I cant offer comparative criticism likes many others. But I can give your paints a "newb-friendliness" rating :D

Anthing like those suggestions tbh. As long as its not like x28 or whatever one of those stupid gw paints is called!

Happy to be a tester too. I could see how they react to the heat of Australia! Some paints really don't appreciate weeks of 30+ degrees

welcome on-board.

the original plan was to be only in dropper bottles but as it appears there are a lot of people into pots also.
so maybe we will be able to offer both options for the actual product line (not the testing though)

what is your preference?

I like the idea of a true colour name and the numbering system based on the lightness/darkness of the colour. Maybe even a bi-component name if in need of it, such as Blue-green or Red-violet
I have always find those silly names on some brands to be a little dumb, most if they do not include a true-reference to the colour they are talking about....

I know marketing has to do with that because it is not the same saying that you have painted a sword with "blood for the blood god" than saying that you have painted it with "Brown-red 3" but the last is a thousand of times more practical.

Agreed, but there is always opportunity for marketing. I would love to market a brand of paint called "Just Paint" Or "Paint! By The Numbers" A creative mind can do anything with branding no matter how bland it might appear ;)

You could always have a kind of dual naming system. So you could name it something like Vomit Brown VB3 to show that it is the mid color of the vomit brown range. That way you could still give shades an individual name but easily match them up to each other, so VB2 mighy be Mud Brown and VB4 might be Tree Brown. Kind of like how Reaper will do a triad of paints with their numbers in succession but you could get a little more specific and orderly with it.

I personally prefer droppers but am happy with either.
