A new one from me... finally

This mini has been on my desk, almost finished, since this summer. I don\'t know why I didn\'t get it finished sooner, because it\'s one of my favourite Hasslefree minis. A few days ago I decided to get it finished, anyway, so here it is:

I love this sculpt (one of Kev White\'s best, IMO) and it was a lot of fun to paint. A little fiddly as it\'s only 20 mm high, but Kev\'s sculpts are always very rewarding for the painter. Anyway, hope you like it! :)

No, actually she don\'t! ;) Her heel on the front foot is in contact with the base (the toes angle somewhat upwards) and most of the toe of the rear foot is in contact too (where the front most of the toes angle upwards...).

I love the sculpt, never seen it before. Paintjob, superd and very ritualistic as always.

@NSA: The \"floaty feet syndrome\" does not look like the aforementioned to me, it looks more like she is walking forward and looking back at the same time. I believe that is what feet actually looks like when we walk at a certain point of the step... just thought I would throw that out there....:D

I\'d imagine your painting table has many pots of untouched bright colors....

Great job, as usual. I love your dark style.

Yeah, about time... I\'ve actually painted quite a bit, but somehow failed to complete much... I hope to change that! :)

And I have to say it she looks as if she\'s right out of Friefly/Serenity.
Gets extra points from me for that.:D

The paint job has a great dark and well worn sort of feel going on. Top stuff there. If I had to pick out one thing for improvement I\'d say that the face, particularly the eyes, doesn\'t look as clean and smooth as the rest of the mini.

Amazed that everyone loves the model itself so much though. Looks like some kinda crazy, ugly midget girl with way too big a head to me, but that doesn\'t take away from a good paint job.

Nice one! :) Saw this in WIP some while ago so I\'m happy you managed to finish it finally! I think it would have benefitted from a more natural skintone. Slightly more pink to it, especially the shadows seem a bit too orange imo.

@Lono: And who doesn\'t love crazy midgets ??? I must say I like this culpt myself too! Don\'t remember if I\'ve ordered it got to check my ministorage... :p
