I take advantage of a training (I mean stage in French) airbrush and weathering realized this weekend to show you the result.
It is my very first tank and my all first tries of rust, pigments, weathering...

Training(I mean stage in French) realized by Juan, and Stryker, quite two members of the team Toulouse.
Realized in two days... But two days of good funs and giggles.

Hope you like it: still in WIP..

The rust is too orange compared to the other colours of the vehicle. It is very beautiful but it looks a bit unrealistic.
Anyway great job.

Wow,that looks very nice, my only comments would be that right now the rust looks a little bright to me (almost like it's glowing), and the tracks look a bit clean/neat compared to the rest of the model. Otherwise it's really nice, I like the subtle shifting tones on the rest of the armor, and the edge chipping is great. Pretty amazing job for your first time!

I myself recently finished my first vehicle using an airbrush and weathering with pigments and oil colours. Great work on the chipped paintjob (mine didn't turn out that well) and also on the exhaust/ oil stains. Rust is great technically but I think you should have gone for a less bright colour. Still it's very nice and it's a matter of personal preference. One thing which you should try is using oil colurs for shading of panel lines and rivets. It's great fun! You can also achieve a great effect on the searchlight lens using an airbrush. You'll find a tutorial about this and other things in my blog (shameless plug, I know but needs must). ;)

All in all, looking good but as my fellow madmen have said, the contrasts are a bit too large. Very bright orange rust & too clean tracks, very dark shadow & very light highlights. So it all might need more work to blend it all together; dirty up those tracks, matte down the glowy rust a bit etc etc.

Iwok,
after looking at all the pics through the thread I have to say that you are one skilled person I love the way your colors blend in.
question on the tank what technique did you use to do the rust effect on ( I am betting that you used pigments)

@NightFallArts:
the rust was made with MIG pigment. Just apply and fixed with the Mig tinner.
Not really difficult: the little difficult is to not put lot of pigment (what i make ^^).

The continuation of the command with Kelian.
Pics taken at top speed.

Very pleasant to paint, even if the molding was really rotted (1mm of gap). The first one on a fig Rackham for me.

Hope you like it.

P.3 AE-WWII Painted Staff: Preview

Good evening,

That is what I just spent my last days.
It is with great trepidation that I can show you my first official work for the game AE-WWII, a para 2nd World War and mystical background with a touch of alien ^ ^

It begins with the first blister Electrical Tesla Airborne Canon (USA).

The second one:

A mounted officer for the German army: SS Knight

Hoping that you enjoy, and then if that can help you discover this game, that's could be good ^ ^.

And now I'll have pleasure to "must" paint more little, more gloomy, more none green minis ;D ;D

Well, "must" isn't the good word, because what I'm looking forward to painting these little critters ^ ^

Much fervor around the work of Jody, aka Mr. Imbriant Arts ...
I could not wait to paint mine.

Those who know Paul Bonner (who don't know him^ ^) does not find anything innovative in the choice of colors ^ ^
But is it really a bad thing trying to copy such a master ^ ^
I just try to make this rather puny little goblin threatening or unhealthy.

Still in wip...
Try to finish it tonight.

Glad that you like it.
Imbrian Arts figs are really great.
The engraving is perfect and the prints are very clean.
