A question about dice...

Does anybody know how many dice, maximum, are actually required to be rolled by a single player at any one given moment?

Or, in other words, do you actually need 6 dice per player in order for each player to have their own dice, and for them to avoid having to roll dice multiple times for one thing?

From all that we have seen 6 dice are all that's required to play. If sharing is not an option then each player will need 6 dice.

6 dice are the maximum for a single player (wielding 2 uzis).
I think cmon explained it somewhere.

Zombicide comes with 6 dice because you basically roll 6 dice with every action spent shooting with an sub-MG in each hand. This is the max dice you'll roll in the game.
Dice are rolled for combat only. Every weapon has a Dice value and an Accuracy value. Roll as many dice as written; each superior or equal result is a success. For each success, inflict as many wounds as the Wound value of the weapon.
Other actions such as movement, searching for stuff, exchanging stuff, getting in or out of a car, etc... doesn't involve dice rolling. Spend an action for it and it's done.
Same for zombies: zombe movement, attack and spawning doesn't involve dice.

Ah, thanks Bortian.
Everything else I've seen has been much more speculative than that.

And, @IdylHans: sharing's always an option, but having your own is always better!

View attachment 12949I'm a huge fan of variety. I don't think I'll be needed to get any of the extra dice offered, other than ones included for free at the Abomination level. I've already got some great survivor dice.

No problem. I didn't want to clutter the forums with too much info. Those curious, check my signature... nuff said.

I'm actually curious about glow-in-the-dark dice. I had some growing up and while they were really cool... I never really used them in the dark, other than to turn off the lights and go "ooooooh....they glow....". :silly: What a silly concept that sells.
