A question for the mods.......Those links to various past threads on the forums next to the news column on the left. (I think that pins it down). How are those quotes chosen? Is it an automated thing or do you all go in and find the things that interest you the most and use those? I\'ve always wondered. ???

In the UK \"beavering away\" means being highly industrious.

I figure most of the opposite gender wouldn\'t mind someone beavering away at a beaver.

Then again, those damn things are terrible to eat.

I keep getting splinters in my teeth and the tails are just too rubbery. Give me a good squirrel any day.

Back to the UK English vs US English debate.
Squirrelling means to hide something away over here.
(Although in IT terms it means fixing SQL servers. Again)

Beaver has a similar meaning in Sweden as it has in UK. Our ministry for industry (she). has this saying that we all ought to be come \"busy little beavers\". :) I\'m not sure she should go international with that one. Or what do you think?
