wow! magic Thanks for taking the time to do that

I shall be buying a light tent thingy forthwith - I had to make do with the only two lamps I had to hand and some pieces of paper propped up for the background - both lamps were different in every way, and not diffused (couldn\'t get enough light onto the mini that way)

All your points will be listened to and learnt from...watch this space!

Try here for a start. Maplin portable light studio
Easy to set up and knock down and takes up very little space.

thanks guys, I\'ll pop into maplins at the beginning of next year (that sounds ages away but it\'ll be more like the 5th jan) and then I\'ll give taking more photos a shot.

As for GIMP, my computer ability isn\'t exactly top notch, but I\'m ok with photoshop - I think I\'d better stick to just the one program save my (and all your) sanity! If there\'s a problem with that I\'ll give gimp a shot though
