A question of.....LIGHT

Or specifically, what kind of lighting are ppl using and how they have their work area set up. Worked on a mini a few nites back only to get a \'second look\' the next day and scream bloody murder. I\'m using all the light I can: overhead flourescents on, kitchenette flourescent on, side table incandescent on, and my work light with a GE Reveal bulb.....maybe I\'m just going blind?

I don\'t like reveal bulbs at all actually, I got some and they look VERY yellow when compaired to my full spectrum flourescent bulbs. At my work area I have 2 cheep $9 arm lamps, and in them 2 not cheep $20 20watt full spectrum flourescent bulbs. They\'re the same bulbs I use for my photography as well. They\'re really like natural sunlight, it\'s almost confusing at first seeing that light inside at night...

I have two lamps, one pointed down from above, and one pointed over my shoulder. Each lamp has one of those fifteen watt, energy saving, spiral type, daylight bulbs, and I love it. It completely floods my room with pure white light. My roommate has taken to calling my room \"the lab\" due to the errily bright glow coming from it on most nights.

yep, sounds like the exact same bulbs I use, and it really does make this spooky light. I usually leave one on when I go out because they\'re really cheep to use, and when I get home past dark, and I see all the normal lights in the windows around mine and then my window with the full spectrum, you definately see a striking difference. However they are so nice to paint by.

I have a swing arm with a halogen bulb and an OTT light with a 15 (?) watt color corrected bulb in it. My photo setup has two swing arms with 100w halogens in them.

Okay, I\'ll go out tonight and quest for a \'not-so-cheap\' full spectrum flourescent. And sorry about the double post, I hadnt meant to post in the other one~I figured I\'d get answers from the people I wanted to hear it from in this one (no offense intended to anyone else). Thanks all.

Me use... daylight- subdued by blinds if needed and some reflectors(white card). Works for the bigger stuff I do. Lucky I guess.
