A rarity - a new post and a new model!

I have not been very active on the forums recently and even less active with painting but I finally finished something so thought I would draw it to your attention- http://www.coolminiornot.com/76166

I used a number of techniques from the CMON articles on the model and would like to thank C Allen and Frenchkid for their piece on metal oxydation though I probably overdid it - this being the first try!
Also Korahil for the article on making bases like Rackham - again a first try at a cork base and I\'m very pleased with how it came out.
I also thought that I had seen something on making snow bases but when I just checked the only article on CMON is for a different look completely so I am not sure where I got the method from.

Anyway please look and let me know what you think

Great to have you back and that is a wonderful submission.

The blade looks deadly enough that I may have to get a tetanus shot just gazing at it.

The snow base is also very well done. Love the muzzle of the little fella.
