Having a place to paint is so nice. I think one of hte reasons I stopped so long ago was because I had to set up every time I wanted to do something. It became too much. Congrats om the move and the paint station!

@Lizcam - you can\'t be serious - you stopped out of laziness?

Well sort of. I had a baby and a job and all sorts of things going.

The last straw was when I had a bottle of nail polish remover opened (acitone) and was using it to strip something and the baby knocked against the table, spilling the bottle all over all my newly painted stuff and my glasses which promptly melted. It ruined the finish on the table too. I figured at that point it might just be better to stop untill the baby was old enough to leave things alone.

Then other things happened and I didn\'t get back into painting untill the beginning of this year.

Stop me if I\'m wrong, but isn\'t the \"baby\" like sixteen now?

17 almost 18. That\'s where the \"lazy\" comes in.

Actually it goes down to a lot of things like lack of cash, remoteness of home, too much work and husband going blind. I finally \"took a sabatical from life\" so to speak near the end of 2005.

I looked hard at my life and what I did and realized I didn\'t much like it. So I changed positions at work, shifted everything around, made people more responsible for thier own crap and took painting back up. Best thing I ever did. No amount of money is worth killing yourself over. I\'m much happier now.

Now if I could just get this mini put together properly and find all the mold lines I\'d be in nervana.

Since when is a 17 year old able to \"leave things alone\"? lol

edit: unless it\'s something that requires hard work

When I was 17 I never left my thing alone...

BTW, Swordtrainer, get that paint area set up quickly, we\'ve been waiting ages to see something new from you
