A small favour to ask

For my Film Studies coursework I chose to do the opening 10 minutes of The Last Samurai. Most of it is done and I have only details left to finish writing, however one small hurdle remains. When the title fades in there is Japanese writing behind it. What does it mean?!?!?!? ???

So anyone who can read Japanese please help me! You are my only hope!!!

I\'m guessing it says Samurai but best to be safe than sorry
