A tale of a happy customer -

Normally we here the tales of grief and woe we all suffer at the hands of companies we have ordered from.

I\'m here to testify brothers and sisters about some really good customer service I recieved recently.

On Saturday I decided that after some careful budgeting I could afford to order some more figures, (62) and some vehicles for conversion for use in 40k -

I got home today and the package from Squadron/Signal - where I ordered the vehicles from - has arrived. Not only that, but they haven\'t charged my account yet! So I got the stuff, and I know the money is coming out, but it hasn\'t yet - usually you get the bill before the stuff arrives.

In addition, the stuff I ordered from Reaper is in the office of my apartment complex.

Oh, and the third order? The whole order is not there yet, and they had to backorder part of it, but they notified me of the backorder within 4 hours of my order being placed.

So, I want to give a well done to Squadron, Reaper, and Rattlehead Games.

2 M3 Tanks - gonna convert them to Leman Russ for my WWII/36th ID themed IG Army.

2 Russian SP Guns - Gonna drop a German 88mm in one and scratch build a mortar for the other for my heavy fire support units.

And a Armored Model T - gonna use it as my command vehicle.

You should be looking for 1/48th scale stuff for Warhammer 40K ..more in scale. Tamiya has a nice growing line and Hobbyboss has jumped in the marketplace along with AFV club. Plus on ebay you can find all kinds of old OOP Bandi kits. Plus companies like GASO Line from France have all sorts of sweet resin kits.

Eh, dont know Jeff - the Tbone Armored car is 3 inches long at best, and the SP guns aren\'t much longer. And the Lee\'s are about the right hight when compaired with the drawings in the 40k books - and I really like the oversize look they have.

You could be right, the guard is about 28mm or 1/56th scale so in reality the vehicles will be way out of scale but 40K vehicles tend to be out of scale anyhow.

i got some 1/35 scale 50 cal m.guns from netmerchants that arrived today. they work nicely with some 40k stuff (and they are cheaper, better detailed and better cast than gw stuff!). also got some 1/75 stuff as i thought it would be the right size (the 50cals were going to be ]I[ scale) i guess i was wrong with that one. oh well, live and learn eh?
