A theif among us

Months ago I painted this as an editorial on how I feel about 3rd party reservation sites. I work taking complaint calls for a major hotel chain. I gave it to one of my co-workers. He jad it on his desk and it was promptly stolen.

The guy I gave it to quit the job about 2 months ago. Tonight I saw it on the desk of someone else in my department. I of course re-claimed it but the person who\'s desk it\'s on works days and I never see him. I\'m glad I found it again but it ticks me off that someone I work with is not only a theif but stupid enough to display what was taken so breazenly. :flame:

Stupidity knows no bounds. We had a guy once caught RED HANDED stealing the dollars out of the concessions that coworkers had set up. The nearest (usually empty) vending machine was a fifteen minute walk (this was in one of the large windowless buildings near you, liz), and these coworkers had to do all the work on it before and after hours, on their own time.

He was lucky actually. The vending coworkers were the ones who caught him, and threatened that they\'d report him if he ever did it again. Risking a six figure salary for five bucks in the till. Stupid.

Slap an anoymous note on their workstation telling them they\'ve been sussed and they are now under observation.

as fun as it sounds to mess with said person, liz should probably ask them if they found it or took it, or whatever the story is first. then if its a plausible story no harm, no foul. but if its a lame excuse, i say grab him by the gonads and pull until your fist hits the moon!!!

I LOVED that mini, Liz!

I would take a picture of it with a sign behind it saying \"I\'m being returned to my RIGHTFUL owner\" and put it on the perp\'s desk.

It\'s back home safe now but the paints chipped and the glue is loose. Thanks god I pin the crap out of things or it wouldn\'t be attacked to the base at all. Not that it was the greatest paintjob in the world but it frosts me anyway.
