A Woodie or two

I\'m liking these having painted woodies myself I know they\'re a pain in the ass..
The Stag Is a great job with a duff mini..I\'ve already discussed my thoughts on this sculpt with you before.
love the little details the hooves etc that look really natural.
The Silver NMM on the swords on all 3 is great.
The painting very neat and a lot more complex than a lot of your other work..
I\'m liking them all.Greatstuff.
If anything the paint looks a little lumpy in parts......but all round solid...

Overall, I really like them. The blending id decent and the colors work well together.
I am not so big on the NMM. Seems a bit too bright/white to me. I think it needs more depth.
Love the banner. Now I know how to paint mine :idea:
The stag is awesome looking. I like what you did with it.
I notice on the hair of all the elves that it could use more shading. I like the nuetral color, but I think it needs a darker shade wash to give a little more depth to it.

I dont usually like wood elves but these are cool. As commented I especially like the acorn banner and wooden armour on the bearer (is he the Ltd edition one?- if so then you have probably trippled his value with this paint job!)

P.S- for some reason I was a little unsure wether to open this thread or not due to the double entendre title- as much as I dont like the tree hugging pointy eared panzees I was relieved to see them !!!

As already said, good work on all three, you seem to have mastered green in it\'s many different forms (ref. imp. guard)
They\'re very naturalistic which suits them. The blade on the standard bearer looks almost crystaline, don\'t know if that was you intension, but good effect for a hero type.
Yeah, the stag sculpt sucks, but you\'ve pulled it off better than many others I\'ve seen, good stuff Krom.
p.s. like the banner icon, but it could be a bit cleaner

I will be posting some pics of my Stag sculpt sometime soon.....
The horns were a bitch but have come out actually quite nice..I will look forward to your critique....
One question..Did you paint anything on the back of the banner or just the front???
