A world without minis?

Ok, so there are rant heavy threads elsewhere, so this will be a light, frivilous, thought provoking one....


Where would you direct your creative energy if miniatures did not exist?

I think I\'d take up drawing. I used to do alot of that, and really enjoyed it. Drawing and writing a comic strip would be very fun.

Well, I just set up my fly tying desk again. Hoping to have a nice box full by spring/summer.

I seem to be able to Draw Flowers and Naff all else.

Oh yes and Woodturning. I\'m extremely good at making sawdust. lol

I\'d probably end up spending more time in the kitchen - there\'s nothing quite as therapeutic as chopping veg and creating a culinary masterpiece (it\'s sausage casserole today)

To be honest, since I\'m on such a long dry spell without even the urge to pick up a brush, I\'m thinking about taking a few classes on the subjects anyway.

Actually, being the lazy thing I am it would end up being Sims2.

Seriously, though... I\'d probably use all my money and spare time for making music. Music is my other big passion, but as it is now I\'m only a devoted consumer.

I would say hiking, but most of my painting is done at night, so they really don\'t interfere with one another.

Nah, I just thought that if they didn\'t exist, inventing them would be a no-brainer.

As a child I was heavily into drawing. Mostly comic style stuff. I drifted from that after I took up painting minis. I imagine that I would have stuck with the drawing and tried to break into the comics market. Maybe ending up doing fantasy art or something.
