Aaarrrgggg... I wish there was an easier way to update pics.

I jus came in today to check out how my contest entry was doing and .... poof it disappered from the contest ranking......

I found out later that its cos the site that was hosting the photo was down... and for very long time tooo..... double

I tried to go in and see if I can replace the link but then DOH..... I cant.
There is simply no mechanism to allow users to replace the pic easily if there is a broken link or other problems.......

I kinda wonder if I\'ll be out of the contest cos of this....

I\'m just guessing but your probably out of the running. But if you missed al those votes wouldn\'t you want to be out?

Just a thought.

actually I dont cos I put quite a lot of effort into this and my pic was there for quite a long time too to get enough votes.

I think there is a simple answer to this...

But it wont help you on this occasion.

Why use a third party host when you can put them directly onto CMON? If CMOn goes down, at least everyone else is in the same boat

well I thot I would try it out... cos everytime I wanna change a pic in CMON, there is SIMPLY no way of doing it without resubmitting the pic......

with an external host I can change the pic from the external source...... and retain same URL.......


anyways I wrote in about this problem... If I get knocked out of running cos of this... (i mean this thing is really outta my control) I really would protest......
