more out of curiosity than anything else, I submitted some new pics, they are a huge improvement over the original, so I\'m wondering if the score will reflect that

metals aren\'t contrasty enough for my liking and the skull hanging from his waist needs darker eyes

I think so
I\'ve done nothing with the paint job it\'s all original from \'02, bearing in mind it\'s been kicking around in the store for most of that time.
In and out of cabinets, storage, etc

Glad you understand where I\'m coming from Mick.
It\'s a big complicated figure and I\'d like to see a rework on it. Hell, I\'m tempted myself but I\'ve already got a specific schedule for the start of 2009 and I can\'t afford to deviate.

Well, I think the \"experiment\" has been a success, just by the submission of a better pic it\'s already nearly a full point above the old pic from 6.0 to 6.9
Also the newer submission has more than half the votes and nearly 2/3 the views of the older one already, just in the space of a few days. It\'s also attracted more comments too

Cool highlighting effect on the lacquered part of the armor plates. I like the jagged reflections. They really work well with the overall \'feel\' of the mini.
