Hello everyone,

Abyss is a new venture showcasing the work of the very talented Jason Monkman. We will be releasing all sorts of miniatures in several different scales. Also, busts, plaques, objects and all sorts of kits. Basically if we think it's cool and fun to make, we'll do it! These will be all be cast in high quality resin.

I saw this project a couple days ago and posted the links over on my thread too. Really cool sculpts (that last one is probably my favorite). I will definitely be keeping an eye on this. Any idea when these will be available for purchase?

Again thank you so much! It's support like yours that will help us immensely! :D

At the moment we are cranking out stuff to have a steady schedule of releases once we start. Jason jumped the gun a bit causing things to speed up while our original plan was to start with the Abyss FB page in March. And release wasn't supposed to start somewhere months after! However it's all good seeing the love we are getting.
What might happen most likely is that as soon as Jason finishes something we'll get some casts and do short pre-runs untill we are ready for normal distribution. Not ideal maybe but we are just two normal guys with fulltime jobs and a family. Adapt and streamline I guess...

Woww! Thanks! As said above, regular release might be just a bit off but not too long I promise! I can't quote you on the price just yet I'm affraid. Need to get the thing in hand, moulded and cast before I can do those calculations. Jason's in the UK while I'm from the Netherlands. :)

Verrry interested. Loving the look of that helmeted fellow. These sculpts are giving me the same feeling I had when I first read BLAME!, fantastic stuff.

Agree that your WIP shots look very unique and refreshingly original. I would definitely be on board if you had a limited pre release of whatever was ready.

Seriously though he is doing a fine job and I cant wait to buy them.

Thanks for that Infelix! Sorry for the lack of updates but my health is a bit messed up and I have little energy to do much. Jason took on too many commissions so had to clear those up first. But as said we plan is still to go official in August and maybe there will be some pre-orders before that! Terrafirma! ;)
