Adding salt in washes?

I have heard of kosher salt in driveway concrete and it turns out great but not this, heck why not try it?

Never tried it and because I\'m not painting anything at the moment which requires that effect I don\'t think I will use it for a while.

It looks interesting though if you decide to give it a go post pics and/or let us know how you get on.

I\'ve never tried it on a mini before, but as a watercolorist, I\'ve used it many times. I\'d definitely suggest trying it a few times on \"test\" pieces to get used to the effect and how you can manipulate it. It is a relatively uncontrolled effect, but it can be varied by the amount of salt you use, the thinness of the wash, etc.
