Adobe launches Photoshop web application

I haven\'t had a chance to read up on it thoroughly, but I came across the article and thought that those of you without CS might be interested in giving it a try. Sounds like you\'re supposed to be in the US to sign up... but they claim it supports Canadians. Maybe we don\'t have to lie

But I suppose this will get more interest.

Even if you arn\'t in the big ol\' U S of A sign up anyway with the country as America, it worked for me. Then when they release it world wide, just change the country in the accounts page.

I\'v set up a gallery, simply because its much faster than photobucket. And the editing stuff is decent, if a bit simple.

Hehe glad you like it. I was considering checking out the Photography section but I was already a bit late leaving this evening.

Anyway a lot of people instantly chimed in that GIMP was better than anything but I have faith that Adobe knows what it\'s doing. You don\'t become a long-term industry leader by accident... some times you do by default (Here\'s lookin at you, Microsoft) but I think these guys have earned their street cred

But beware, problems with the small print:

But apparently Adobe have noticed people won\'t use it because of this and are going to revise it:

I really wish GIMP wasn\'t so weird for new/casual users. They need to get over their perverse design and give it a one-window setup and fix a few bugs. But I guess for zero $ cost you can only expect so much.

Well even though I have Adobe CS at home I\'m still gonna use Photoshop Express for 2 gigs of free image hosting. That\'s hard to argue with
