I have a plan, a mental image, a miniature and a rough sketch of what I what to do which is this:

Sculpt a ring of fire around a Sorcerer from 5mm to 10mm high. The premise is that he\'s in the middle of casting a spell involving fire.

I want it to appear as though it\'s swirling around him.

Can anyone suggest the best way to do this?? Including materials and tools. Or can anyone point me in the direction of pictures with fire sculptings?

Thanks in advance!!! :D

flameage

i have an idea for you for flames you may like you may not? ok, firstly go out and buy a shit load of green stuff, secondly take a peice and mix it up about the size of the tip of your finger to start with and then shape it in to a sausage, thirdly hold it at each end with both hands, then twist one end anticlock wise and the other counter clock wise, so you start to get a spirle affect, and the more you twist the tighter the lines get and i recon if you do this with diffrent size peices to make big and small ones then once they set glue together and doctor together with more green stuff you might get the dezired affect! i have used this for plants on my bases and beleave would work for fire aswell!!! let me know how you get on!
