What's a good way to make a cheap lightbox?

Frosted ikea trash bucket with a hole cut in the side and two cheap lamps with daylight bulbs to light it up Meg maples used that set up and used to have a post about it but it seems to be gone.

Adding a smooth curved sheet of neutral grey poster board inside the bin creates a seamless backdrop without harsh horizon shadows

Seconding the white storage bin idea. I used a frosted one with two cheap 5000K desk lamps on either side and a strip of grey card curving up the back, and it got rid of most of the hard shadows for well under twenty dollars.
