Hi everyone.
I\'m planning on starting a new project once my current one (Vampire Lord/Empire Priest Duel) is finished. My idea is to create a scene as if it were photographed by a photographer embedded with an Imperial Guard unit. I want to paint the entire scene in a Sepia tone to give off an old time feel. That\'s not necessarily my issue.
I\'m trying to figure out a way to convey the idea that it\'s meant to resemble a photograph. Do I put it in a lit box and enclose the figure? Do I model the photographer? Do I model the photographer in color and only paint his cameras field of view in a Sepia tone?
It\'s not a big diorama, maybe a 4\"x2\" base. My thought is to just paint it and place a small plaque on the base that reads \"guardsman so and so, doing this and that, from embedded photographer such and such.\" I have several ideas, so I may do more than one and just make it a series.
Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.
