she sounds like a bitch(no offence ment). and I should know-there are sooo many at my school. tell your husband that your just not and cant make friends wit her.
if you change your mind then of course be friends. but if your really not friends and you trust your husband, just tell him its not happening. if he gets angry tell him (your husband) to be friends with her. if he manages then you can try.
OR pick the most annoying person you know and tell your husband to make friends with them.

Gotta disagree here, she doesn\'t sound like a bitch, she sounds like someone who who has a light-hearted personality and may not be interested in the \'heavy\' subjects.

Like with anyone else its going to be a case of what do you have in common to talk about! Films, music, flowers, the funny shapes of the clouds today, whether pink vibrators are better than blue ones.

As to whether you should try and become bestest bestest friends - well its not something you can force to be honest, and I think you know that already.

My advice - when you go for a beer, offer her one too and see what happens
