really looking great. You might want to make a grout for those stones. It will be a little more work but it will tie them together and be more realistic. It'll mess with what you have painted so far but is easy to paint again.
Yeah should have done that in the beginning! Was thinking of plaster of Paris but that stuff gets damn hot when it's curing so will mix up fine sand and pva glue and trowel it in.
Thanks for the nice comments guys! P.s. nice marine there meph!
Ok Milosh grouted the stones. I did this with the new wonder material for the mini industry dun dun derrrrrrr...........Moon sand; yes i steal from my three year old daughter.
Its perfect a fine sand thats tacky and slightly adhesive just push it in the holes and brush of the excess. Give it a coat of black paint to seal it and voila perfect looking grout ready to paint up.
By the supperating puss of Nurgle does my genius know no bounds
Right here we go new photos with better lighting and a back drop. Unless any one can think of anything else Im goint to post on the voting bit, Ill put a voting link up soon.
Ahh feeling all fed up now its finished. Have to start a new project thinking of a dark wizard summoning eldritch demons from beyond an excuse to paint up some more rackham and do another diorama as I have realy enjoyed this. Cheers everyone for helping!!
Nice work! and that grout has a slight raisedness to it so it doubles as moss patches as well. Very well done sir, now let the voting begin. One more thing you might consider is a darker background, maybe a deep purple or something similar, it would really lend itself well to showing off the model for the voting.
