After a zillion years in the making, any opinions on Chinese Democracy?

Quite liked what I\'ve heard of it.
New ACDC is pretty good, the last Ozzy album had a couple decent tracks, but he just hasn\'t bested No More Tears.

Oh, and for someone like me who prefer old school hard rock, this year is quite good. We have new release from G\'n\'R, AC/DC, Metallica. What more can you ask for?

A good album? lol

Seriously, all three of these were really underwhelming.

Aren\'t you guys just shipped copies of AC/DC albums? I also was under the impression that you were federally legislated to praise all their work in public 2-3 times a week?

Or have I been misinformed about Australian government policy all these years?

Listening to AC/DC Black Ice right now on Youtube. If I try to forget that it\'s AC/DC then it\'s pretty cool.
I just never could warm up to Brian Johnson. Seems like a nice enough fellow but I guess like some people with Sean Connery as THE Bond, Bonn Scott will always be the voice of AC/DC for me.

I agree, but I like the Johnson stuff too. It\'s almost like hearing two different bands. What\'s wierd is hearing Johnson perform the old Bon Scott tunes.

I just felt very \"meh\" about Black Ice.

I\'ve just listened to it very briefly. And I have to concur with the opinion that it\'s neither YEY! or NEY! I\'m neither disappointed (i had really low expectations) or thrilled. But there are some good riffs in there and Axls voice sound as good as ever! :)

well my gf loves it an as such ive now heard it about 15 times and i have to say everytime i hear it it seems weaker n weaker.to me it sounds like axle picked out a few credable bands and tryed poorley to emulate them all. constucted well but for me a bit dull and too much this sounds like (insert band here) lol
