Everyone has listened to me beg, cajole, weasle and kiss ass over the last five or so months trying to find a WotC Black Dragon.

I got it! I got it! I got it!

Sorry, had to get that out of my system.

And not too bad of a price either - $47 with S/H and all that good stuff. Never dremeled, painted, stripped or any of that good stuff. Of course I know its going to be a bitch to put together and some people have sworn off Dragons after attempting to work with that, but I can\'t wait to get my grubby little paws on it.

I do - was doing the cha-cha around the room when I snipped that bugger (yes, I\'m one of those bastards).

Now if I could just stop throwing up, coughing up phlem, running a high grade temp and my eyes would actually focus BEFORE I go to work - that would be a good thing.

I hate being sick.

Are they that hard to find? I only ask because I went into a game store over here with a mini in the black dragon box and was accosted by a guy who wanted to buy it off of me. Curious about it, I looked for it and I found the half assembled remnants of it in my bits box.

Congrats!

The ironic thing is that Reaper has just announced Ebonwrath, a black dragon which looks a lot like the WotC one. <giggles wildly... but in a manly sort of way>

Looks like a March release for it, too. Hmm, I think I like the pose of the WotC one better though. This one looks bigger, too.

Oh, and it\'ll probably cost close to twice as much.

I don\'t know how the WotC dragon compares size-wise to the upcoming Reaper one, but I have to say the WotC dragon is very nice.

Someone put up a thread a while back complaining how much trouble he had assembling it. I haven\'t tried myself, but I saw it when my friend bought one and the pieces didn\'t seem to fit together terribly well. Despite this, my friend managed to assemble and paint it in one night. I should persuade his wife to post a pic of it.

The WotC one is a terrible pain to put together. Which is why mine is half assembled. I had to stop myself from destroying it by trying to slap it together when I started to get frustrated. :p

At this point, years later, it\'s still only half-assembled and without any of the gaps filled. It\'s sitting next to the Clan War Earth Dragon in my WIP box as things that mock me that I may never get around to completing.

Trust me, it\'s not as self-fulfilling as you might think.....Not that there\'s anything wrong with being self-fulfilled, is there?

I self-fulfill myself quite regularly. ;)

Glad you finally managed to find one! It is a bitch to put together though because the casting, on mine at least, isn\'t great. That new reaper dragon looks rather nice too. -I would say that the reaper one looks quite a bit bigger than the WOTC one. In the case of the WOTC black dragon, he comes up to about the shoulders on Gauth/ Traukzul. But is a similar size to Dragons dont share.
