Kustom Kolor has a new spray bottle that I picked up on clearance for $2 a pair. Airbrush syphon built in.

Better in certain respects, definitely (cleaning, upkeep, maintenance, price). Can\'t say if it\'s better entirely (longevity, atomisation, finesse) since I\'ve never used the Badger model.

Trust me though, the 1000S is capable of spraying fine enough. Here\'s a detail of a bust I painted with one; this pic is at roughly 350-400% of real size. Bear in mind the Pawnee was only the second model I\'d used the airbrush on, quality of finish gets a little better than that, as you can see if you look at my gallery where you\'ll see stuff from larger scales down to 1/35.

Not all of the other pieces were done with a 1000S but as I say above, it sprays as fine as its expensive siblings only without the dual-action control (which I practically never use anyway).
