Alahan Horseman

Hi there.

I haven\'t really tried doing any Rackham conversions before, so I came up with this guy. The horse is from the Mounted Bard of Alahan and the rider is hacked up from a couple of different models with plenty of green stuff:

I like the big majestic horses that GW put out a few (ok many) years back, and this reminds me of that.

shes so dinky, its like an afterthought...


i like that much better. while i think the horse looks like a womans horse, this came out quite lovely...

Love both horse and rider. The scale difference gives the horse a more mighty feel.

Isn\'t the bard a male? I\'m confused.

@Aescarion...the robe color and the horse flesh color might be too similar. But maybe that is done on purpose?

i like it very much. i agree the rider looks a bit small for the horse...but it is still painted very nicely!

This is rating 7.7 at the moment.....what a joke, i love this model, the horse has such a powerful feel and the painting is very high standard, an 8.5 from me.
