Alclad 2 Lacquer "Test"

I originally bought the above for my airbrush but a pure "metal" coloured mini idea hasn't presented itself so I have just tried using it with a brush on my dreadnought - so far so good goes on very smooth 1 coat for total coverage and it should be good with inks, weathering etc I will post pictures of my results.

I'm surprised you got this to work by brush! As a lacquer it dries really fast and it tends to eat into anything underneath, plus all the bottles I've had are mostly carrier.

I presume you know this already but I'll mention it on the off chance you don't - best results (i.e. most metal-looking) are often achieved over a gloss undercoat.
