Also all these cool jobs on Hasslefree stuff has made me want to put a huge order in, so when I get paid il be getting a few.

*edit* How did you make the wooden sign post?

Matty: Thank you! As I said, if there is something you wonder about I will gladly try to explain it. The sign is made out of a icecream stick that has been cut into the right sized pieces and ruffed up by adding texture with a sewing needle. Best wishes //ALEX

WOW, i must say these are fantastic paintjobs, and a great WiP thread, ive learnt a lot from it.
It would be great to get some close up pics of your latest WIP, also would it be possible to find out how you painted the skin?

SirJD: Thank you, I will post larger pics later on, I will not have much time to paint in the next weeks. The skin is painted with lots of different tones. I will try to explain from GW paints even though I don´t use them. I start with and orange /beige (eg. bronzed flesh), I then add purple/blue /brown to the mix (eg. scorched brown/purple) I then continue to add more of a blue grey ( eg. shadow grey). I make the lights by mixing in a sand tone into the base mix and continue by adding a beige and finally white. I then mix up 9 glaze tones (three hot, three mediums and three cold) and glaze the respective area. The most important tones are the light and very cold blue (eg. ice blue) in the most dark zones and an orange in the almost lightest zones and a yellow on the most illuminated parts. Other great glaze tones are grey/greens (eg. catachan green). I hope it helps! Best wishes //ALEX

in my opinion, you should get bigger pictures, you cant really see any of the quality, and this might cause them to be undersold!

Hello everyone,

here is my latest finished figure. It is the Griffin Magistrate from Rackham. It is a figure I have been wanting to paint for a long time. On this one I focused alot on the decor and the ambiance to make a very clear scene.
