Okay just came across this gem:

I just had to point it out as it\'s got to be one of the coolest minis I have ever seen on here. Truely amazing. This is the first time I\'ve seen a painted mini that I would actually consider buying (generally I don\'t buy painted as I prefer to do the painting myself). This ranks up there with VinceGamer\'s Fridge Space Hulk. Just so cool.

There\'s a mini in there, I\'ve seen the mini on here before. Far as I can tell, it\'s a mini set inside a flat. The flat being the tree/brush and path, the mini being alice and cat. Then put in a watch with a glass case over it.

great piece. wouldn\'t say that the background is a true flat. the tree looks like a real bit o\' branch and the leaves are defo brass sheet

It\'s nice but I\'m not jumping up and down in excitement as some seem to do. The idea is good but pretty obvious and mini-inside-watch has been done before (most notably jeremies bilbo). The painting is great but not amazing. I gave it a 9 for idea and execution.

/The cranky mod. ;)

thanks for your kind words on my mini..
it just a mini in a watch.. your right... and it was inspired by jeremies bilbo.
i thought about it quite a while.. as i\'m a big fan of the wonderland theme.as you see in my nickname :)
the leaves are paperleaves from plus-model..

I also really liked the Bilbo, but something about this really apeals to me. I think it\'s the colour choices. When I first looked at the pic, the top one, it almosted looked like etched metal and not a 3-d mini. Both are amazing pieces though, great job white rabbit.

i stand corrected! plus model is no good to us - they only sell in orders of $250 or €200!! some great stuff though
