As I have got all the recent dirty tabletop painting out of my system and started to paint how I enjoy once more I felt I should share this little WIP with you awesome people

This is my source of inspiration for the model

After spending several minutes studying the reference photo ;) , I think you are doing a smasking job!

Wait, you were able to make it past the reference photo? I completely forgot what forum I was on.

The paint job is looking great so far. I think you nailed the blonde hair (something I'm still struggling with). Good luck with the pattern on the stockings. That should be a fun challenge.

Mate are you and Martin going to be in ashburton like last year? I might have to make my way over with some paintage stuff for the day if so.

Got a little done tonight, stocking base done ready for the freehand overly

It was hard to make it past the reference picture but, after seeing the paintjob, i must say the only things i don't like are the shadows below her eyes: too strong imho, she seems like she need to sleep, or like someone punched her :D

Everything else is excellent !

wow, really nice mrdee, those socks rock! have to agree about the eyes, looks like there are some strong stuff in the cup lol. but ace job nontheless :good:

I am very impress with your job, mate. Very good work. The contrast is very good. and the colors are great. Eager to see the finish model.

The card suits on the stocking is a great little touch and brilliantly executed. Cant wait to see the finished product. Did you have something in mind for the base yet?
