Alien Mini\'s in 28mm Hunt continues

hey there, some of you may remember i made a similar thread to this a little while ago, but i made the critical mistake of commenting on certain films in the series\' quality, so, predictably, the whole thread turned into a discussion of the awesomeness and not-awesomeness of the alien films.

Learning from that mistake, i created this esteemed thread of helping-me-ness

SO, i\'m looking for some decent 28mm Alien Miniatures.
i have seen the ERM mini\'s attempt at a not-alien. it makes my eyes bleed.
i tried for weeks to get some of the Leadin edge Awesomeness, but the fact they cost enough to buy a small house kinda put a crimp in that plan.

and before anyone mentions Horrorclix. No. just No.
i have heard about some older Grenadier mini\'s that were damn good for it, i think they called them Demons

i\'ve been searching for some good ones for weeks, but as ever with Not-versions of mini\'s, its bloody impossible.
if anyone has found any good alien mini\'s, it would be awesome if you could give me a link

thanks for those, i\'ve put a watch on em, and i\'m gonna buy 1 lot to test em, if they are cool, i\'ll buy more. great addition for my aliebns, from the looks of it. :beer:

hey there mandalore...why not the old aliens mini\'s that came out in 86\' i saw an auction for quite a few on ebay the other day. heck one of my friends has a bunch and might be willing to part with them...he even has ripley in her \"get away from her you b%$^ch\" robot suit.

i think those are the Leading Edge ones, which go for way too much (almost as much as GW stuff *shock, gasp, disbelief*)
Does your Mate have any of the Aliens, i.e the warriors, queen, or even facehuggers? if he does, and he\'s willing to part with em, i\'d be totally up for buying them, although i dunno how it would work. i doubt that he would be ok with parting with em though, they are something of a difficulty to get in the first place.

on a side note, i did have a good idea for some good, easy alien conversions, so here it is: use the old OOP Hormagaunts (i know this is mentioned all the time, but wait for the cool bit), a box of horrorclix bendy plastic badly posed generally shite aliens, and an assortment of genestealer plastic hands.
my idea was, the hormagaunt body looks spot on for an alien, and a few of the heads do as well, but about half of the heads dont look right.
the Horrorclix has a few problems, mainly about half of them are badly posed (pillar ones in particular), but the other half do look decent.
for the hormagaunts with the good heads, just apply stealer arms and enjoy, for the horrorclix with decent poses, rebase and enjoy.
for the other half of the gaunts chop their noggins off, same with the other horrorclix, and put the great horrorclix alien heads (as they are a solid lump of plastic, they don\'t have the bendy plastic problem) on the gaunt bodies, resulting in perfect bugs all round.

i had a good look around the Foundry site, but i can\'t find em, any clue what category its in, or if its OOP?
