I must say the game I\'ve had most fun playing is Discworld II. Unfortunately it\'s one of those games that once solved is not 1/10th as fun to play again. So if you have any suggestion of a similar game (except Discworld 1 and Monkey Island) I\'d be grateful.

EDIT: I played Starcraft and Diablo a lot. Multiplayer my favourite game was Unreal Tournament with the mod instant gib.

Now a days I don\'t play much. Sometimes I play Warcraft 3 and Heroes of might and magic (any version) But apart from that, not much at all.

This is my favourite game too.
The only one I bother playing from time to time.
I just rather paint nowadays whenever I have some free time.

Day of the tentacle
Might and Magic series
Dungeon Hack (gotta love random dungeons)

Discworld? As In Terry Pratchett?

There\'s a new Sensi Soccer coming out to coincide with the world cup.

Chaos on the Sinclair Spectrum, from when GW made computer games.
Mario Kart original and Double dash, pure genius and a great laugh after a couple of pints.
Street Fighter II Turbo, chess with knuckledusters.
Silent Hill 2, a dirty, disturbing headfuck of a game.
Zelda Ocarina and Wind Waker, the joy of finding something new is brilliant.
Timesplitters 1, 2 and 3, tongue in cheek fun with a gun. Any game where you can play an Elvis impersonator has to be cool.
Castlevania Symphony of the Night. Perfectly paced exploration, bags of atmosphere, cracking soundtrack and the upside down castle secret area.

Secret Crocodile
Yep as in Terry Pratchett!!

We are talking the original Sensi soccer on the Atari ST or Amiga (can\'t remember which, I had both)

To me it didn\'t become as fun when it went all 3D, what was wrong with little teeny tiny men running round the pitch :D

Tough choice though i\'d have to go with

Half-Life series

and last but not least Diablo

Super Nintendo - Zelda or Zombies Ate My Neighbour (close call)
Nintendo 64 - Goldeneye or Banjo Kazooie (again it\'s toss of a coin)

Thanks for the link!
I may just have to download Master of Orion when I get home.

Oh, I\'d also like to add the Wing Commander series to the list. I just LOVED ramming enemy spaceships! (it handled collisions, but I don\'t think it was programmed to expect that as a tactic)

At the moment it\'s Battlefield 2, not the best game in the world in some respects - especially when the <cough>patch<cough> it  - but the online play can be excellent with a good team/squad and there doesn\'t appear to be a huge amount of cheating to just ruin the experience completely.

I really liked the first three Tomb Raider games and on the Playstation I think Grand Turismo held my attention the longest.

If I had to pick just one game though I\'d probably go with UnrealTournament, absolutely the best FPS of its generation because in addition to the simple interface and quick connection for online play it had kick-ass bots, many different game types for a little variety and tons of third-party maps and extensions (many of which were really very good).

I\'ve played that far, far too much... especially around the time my brother and I were rated #1 in the world on ngWorldStats :D
